We are here to provide support and a better understanding of the way math is presently being taught in schools. Concepts that are taught in kindergarten will connect to standards in the future. When a child is struggling with a particular math skill, we will review concepts that haven’t been mastered. Having a solid understanding of fundamental math skills is essential as child transitions into the next grade.

Individualized Lessons for Your Child

Each lesson is individualized, using the standards as a guide, and designed to meet the needs of each child. Manipulatives, games, and technology are used to reinforce the concept being taught during the tutoring lesson. Parents are given a copy of each lesson and activities to do at home to practice the skills being taught. Notes and exit slips are used to track progress of each concept being taught. Each lesson concludes with a 5 minute conference to discuss the progress and plans for the next lesson.
